Naturally Healthy WomanCare will explain
the normative menstrual cycle of women
and demonstrate how alterations to hormonal
balance reflects in discomforts and/or
disease. Standard conventional medical
treatments will be discussed along with lifestyle,
dietary, and herbal medicine interventions
with comparisons given where appropriate
in effectiveness. The focus will be on
an integrated, “ladder approach” to well
woman care designed to encourage informed
and active consumer choice in healthcare.

Saturday, October 11 (9AM - Noon; 1PM - 3PM)
Mothers are family healthcare practitioners. This workshop
equips mom with the tools needed for her work of loving and
caring for her family’s healthcare needs. Methods of evaluating family health will be
taught alongside nutritional medicine intervention—how to make food your family’s
best preventive medicine. Conditions often encountered by families from infancy to
the gray-haired years will be discussed with an eye to identifying physiologic, nutritional,
and herbal therapies most likely to work.
